-Hemorrhoids is pretty common in the United States. About 5% of the population in the U.S. have some sort of hemorrhoid and about 20% of the population require surgery from the symptomatic hemorrhoids.

- Preventing hemorrhoid includes drinking more fluids, and eating more dietary fiber, such as fruits, vegetables and cereal in high fiber. Doing exercising, practicing a better posture, and reducing straining for bowel movement. People with hemorrhoids should avoid using laxatives and just reduce straining their bowel movement.
-There are no medicine that will cure hemorrhoids, but there are many treatments. Such as using a warm sitz baths, using a bidits, extendable showerhead, a cold compress. For many people, hemorrhoids are just mild and temporary conditions that heal spontaneously or by some form of measure treatment.
-There are people that have applied natural procedures for treatment or reversal of chronic conditions. However, self-care measures, including herbal or natural remedies should not be taken without medical consent to avoid possible drug interactions. Like using the Alexander technique, taking herbs and dietary supplements that strengthen vein walls, drinking chamomile tea, an eating fiber-rich bulk agent such as plantain and psyllium seed husk to help create softer stool that is easier to pass.
